In More Depth
What each of these means in practice
Deep expertise in Malaysian family law
Our advisors have appeared in proceedings across both the Civil and Syariah jurisdictions in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. This dual-system experience is uncommon, and it matters — because the legal framework that applies to your matter depends heavily on personal circumstances that we take time to understand before advising.
We keep pace with legislative updates and court decisions affecting family law in Malaysia, so the guidance we provide reflects current practice, not outdated assumptions.
What this means for you
- Advice grounded in current Malaysian statutes and case law
- Clear guidance on which court handles your matter and why
- Experience with contested and uncontested proceedings
- Understanding of how courts approach children's welfare
A structured, considered process
- Initial consultation to understand your situation fully
- Options presented clearly before any step is taken
- Documents prepared methodically and reviewed with you
- You are updated at each stage without needing to ask
A process that keeps you informed
Family legal proceedings involve a sequence of steps — filing, service of documents, court dates, negotiations, orders — and each step can feel opaque if no one explains it. We make a point of walking through the process with you before it starts, so you know what is coming and why.
Proactive communication is part of how we work, not an extra. You will hear from us before you need to chase us.
Clear fees that reflect the service you receive
Legal fees in Malaysia can be difficult to predict. We work to change that for our clients by presenting a written scope of services and associated fees before any work begins. If the scope needs to change, we discuss it openly and agree before proceeding.
Our fees start from RM 560 for divorce and separation advisory, RM 960 for child custody and guardianship matters, and RM 1,320 for maintenance arrangements. Disbursements such as court filing fees are itemised separately.
Transparent pricing at a glance
Court filing fees and third-party disbursements billed separately and itemised.

What Sets Us Apart
Three things you will not find everywhere
Dual-jurisdiction practice
Very few practices in Kuala Lumpur combine active Civil and Syariah family law capabilities. Our team handles both without referring you elsewhere.
A calm, private office
Our Bangsar Baru office is designed for privacy and comfort — not a busy shared lobby. Clients tell us this makes a real difference when discussing personal matters.
Child-welfare centred approach
When children are involved, their welfare sits at the centre of how we think about every decision — not as a legal requirement to tick off, but as a genuine priority.
